Why an implementation coach?

The leap of faith required to adopt Agility, can cause fears and concerns throughout an organisation, leading to incomplete or inappropriately hybridised applications of Agility.

The coach is there to keep the implementation process on track, help you mitigate the risks and support you in achieving the demonstrated benefits by closing the gap between intention and adoption without violating the fundamental principles of Agility, while remaining acutely sensitive to the practical realities of business.

What are cores skill of an implementation coach?

The implementation coach must have a keen understanding of the philosophical precepts of empiricism upon which Agility is built - he must translate this into a practical framework for implementation.

The coach must balance the implementation commitment with a realistic appreciation of the economical and operational boundaries of his clients.

The coach must understand human nature and be an expert at directing people toward autonomy, constantly stretching and developing human capacity.

The coach must be problem solver and be able to quickly evaluate and retain broad oversight over Agile implementation projects.
